Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Linwood Scripture can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Obituary for Linwood Franklin Scripture

Linwood Franklin  Scripture
Levant - Linwood Franklin Scripture, 77, died July 22, 2014 at a Bangor Hospital surrounded by his family. He was born January 27, 1937 in Bangor the son of Robert and Alice (White) Scripture. He was a member of the Brewer Eagles Club Penobscot Aerie 3177. In addition to his parents Linwood was predeceased by a brother Robert Scripture and a sister Diane Thayer. He is survived by his significant other Lillian Curtis; six children, Lorretta and her husband Rick Grindal, Linwood Scripture and his wife Donna, Linda and her husband Bob Fish, Rick Scripture and his wife Sue, Randy Scripture and his wife Carolee, and Candy Decesere and her friend Ulemu; twelve grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren; brother Donnie Dunton; sister Sandra Lewis. The family would like to thank the entire staff at St. Joseph Hospital, Dr. Starks and Dr. Kakar for all of the loving care and compassion given to Linwood. Friends may call from 5-7pm Saturday July 26, 2014 at Brookings-Smith 133 Center Street, Bangor where funeral services will be held 1:00pm Sunday July 27, 2014 with the Rev.
