Jeannette (McCluskey) Leavitt, wife of the late Ellsworth Leavitt, died August 18, 2014 at a local nursing home, after a long illness. She was born in Bangor, the daughter of Joseph and Elizabeth (Dunn) McCluskey.
She is survived by two sisters, Mary Hranyczka and Patricia Turner, both of Bangor; one brother, Lawrence McCluskey of Orono; many nieces and nephews.
Jeannette was predeceased by one sister, Catherine and four brothers, John, Robert, Francis and Lewis.
A Funeral Mass will be held 11 a.m. Thursday August 21, 2014, at St. Paul the Apostle Parish, St. John’s Catholic Church, 207 York St., Bangor. The Rite of Committal will be held privately, at Mt. Pleasant Catholic Cemetery.
The family would like to thank the staff at Westgate Manor for the wonderful and loving care she received while there.
