BREWER - Robin M. (Adams) Rie, 59, went home to be with her parents, Lloyd F. Adams and Penney (Scott) Herer, Sept. 19, 2014. Robin was born March 7, 1955. She was a graduate of Brewer High School Class of 1974, and earned a B.A. in Journalism and K-8 teaching certificate from the University of Maine, Orono. Robin severed her Country proudly with 21 years in the United States Naval Reserves, 4 of which were on active duty. She was a U.S. Postal Service employee in Bangor until her retirement. Robin was also a Real Estate Agent in the Bangor Area for many years with J.F. Singleton and Prudential. She was an angel in many lives and will be dearly missed by Boodeeka and Chandler; her life time partner, Michael Cushman; sisters, Mitzie Maraghy, Sylvia Arey, and Cindy Adams; brothers, Shawn Herer, Anthony Wardwell, Brandon Luke Wardwell, and Chrystal Star Wardwell, Fred Wardwell Jr., Ralph Wardwell, Arthur Wardwell, Fitz Adams, Paul Herer, David Herer, and Jeff Herer; sister-in-law, Maria Odoardi; her 1st husband, Keith Stover; friends, Sonja, Kim, Lori, Randy, and Suzie, and many other special friends; her postal services co-workers and the staff at Prudential. Robin's Soul was decorated with many colors and many friends. The world has lost an angel and God has received a diamond. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 25, 2014 at Brookings-Smith, 133 Center St., Bangor. The family invites relatives and friends to share conversation and refreshments at the Family Reception Center of Brookings-Smith, 163 Center St., immediately following the service. Interment with Military honors will be held following the reception at the West Charleston Cemetery, Charleston. Gifts in Robin's memory may be made to the Bangor Humane Society, 693 Mt.
