Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Keelan Manlove can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Obituary for Keelan Reece Manlove

Keelan R. Manlove, 25, passed away November 23, 2014, at a Bangor hospital with his loving parents by his side due to complications of Muscular Dystrophy. He was born November 2, 1989, in Bangor the son of Christopher and Jane (Adams) Manlove.

Keelan graduated from Bangor High School and attended the New England School of Communications. Keelan’s is a kind and gentle soul. He loved music, humor, gaming and basking in the sunshine.

Keelan will be greatly missed by his parents, Chris and Jane (Adams) Manlove; a sister, Megan Manlove-Smith and her husband Shane and daughters Kendall and Grayson of San Diego, CA; grandmothers, Suzanne Manlove and Dorothy Adams; uncle George W. Manlove; aunt Jill (Manlove) Jordan and husband Alan; uncle Gray Adams and wife Rosie, aunt Katherine Adams; cousins Adam and Ethan Jordan, Lisa Adams, Trish Bates and husband Ryan, Brad Adams and wife Lynn; and special friend Nick Nichols. He was predeceased by his brother Christopher; his grandfathers George K. Manlove and Merle C. Adams; his uncle Merle H. Adams.

A service of remembrance will be held 6 PM, Friday, December 5, at Brookings-Smith, 133 Center Street, Bangor. Gifts in his memory may be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association, Maine Chapter, 39 Mechanic Street, Suite 100, Westbrook, Maine 04092.
