Obituary for Clinda Loraine Jordan (Martin)
Clinda L. (Martin) Jordan, 75, passed away December 11, 2014 at a Bangor hospital. She was born October 18, 1939, the daughter of Clinton L. and Doris E. (Foster) Martin.
Clancy worked in the car dealership business for many years and made many friends over the years.
Clinda is survived by her husband of 55 years, Charles “Charlie” “Chuck” Jordan; two daughters, Kelly and husband Tom Merchant of Bradley, Tracie and husband Chris Wickett of Cape Coral, FL; beloved granddaughters, Jordan Merchant and Taylor Wickett, and grandsons, Zachary and Cayden Merchant; brothers, Joseph “Ricky” Martin and wife Lorette of Fairfield, Dennis Martin and wife Donna of Waterville; a sister-in-law, Thelma Martin of Winslow, and many nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly. Clinda was predeceased by her parents, her in-laws Charles and Myrna Jordan, a brother Clinton “Sonny” Martin, a sister Alice True and husband Richmond. The family wishes to thank St. Joseph’s Hospital 5th floor for their compassionate care given to Clinda during her final days.
Services for Clinda will be private for the family. Gifts in her memory may be made to the American Lung Assoc. of ME, 122 State Street, Augusta, ME 04338-2109. Condolences to the family may be expressed at www.BrookingsSmith.com.
