Obituary for Jason Lee Teifert

Jason Lee “Teif” Teifert, 21, died tragically in a snowmobile accident on March 22, 2015, in Hermon. He was born June 23, 1993, in Rapid City, South Dakota, the son of Norbert “Sonny” Teifert of Ketchikan, AK and Claudia (Dumont) Teifert of Hermon.

Teif loved to hunt and fish and spend time outdoors with his friends. Teif had a unique take on life. Those who spent time with him always had a smile on their face. Life without Jason’s free spirit will be far less interesting.

In addition to his loving parents, he is survived by his maternal grandmother, Marita Dumont of Oklahoma; paternal grandparents Horst and Cecilia Teifert of Fort Wayne, Indiana; and many dear friends.

A celebration of life gathering will be held from 6-8 PM, Thursday, March 26, at the Family Reception Center of Brookings-Smith, 163 Center Street, Bangor. Condolences to the family may be expressed at www.BrookingsSmith.com
