Robert S.  Troup
Robert S. Troup, 84, died June 25, 2015, at a Bangor Healthcare Facility. He was born June 15, 1931, in Bar Harbor, son of the late James J. Baker and Rowene (West) Baker Troup.
Robert attended schools in Maine and New Hampshire. He joined the US Army and served during the Korean and Vietnam Conflicts. He was a member of the V.F.W. Post of Brewer and Bangor, as well as the American Legion.
Robert was employed by Eastern Fine Paper Co. until he retired in 1981.
He is survived by his wife, Gloria (Green) Troup, 3 children, 4 stepchildren and 10 grandchildren, whom he loved very much.
A graveside service with military honors will be held 10 a.m., Tuesday, June 30, 2015 at Mount Hope Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited to meet 9:45 a.m., Tuesday, at the Superintendents Lodge, State Street entrance, Bangor. Condolences to the family may be expressed at www.BrookingsSmith.com.
