Obituary for Arthur Jay Duplain

Arthur Jay  Duplain
Arthur J. Duplain, 85, passed away peacefully in his sleep August 26, 2015, at a Brewer nursing facility. He was born, October 7, 1929, in Louisville, OH, the son of Bernard and Margaret (Roberts) Duplain.
Arthur served in the US Air Force for 20 years before retiring as a Tech Sergeant. He married Beverly Freeman in 1954, and together they celebrated 60 years of marriage. Arthur was a member of the Eagles Club, Penobscot Arie #3177; as well as the American Legion, Belleview Post 284 Comanches in Florida.
Arthur is survived by his wife, Beverly Duplain of Bangor; three children, Diane Vicnaire of Levant, Sandra Smith of Bangor, and Jon Duplain and his wife, Sara of Glenburn; four grandchildren; and a very special sister-in-law, Donna Clark and her husband, Edwin of Belfast.
Graveside services will be held at Grove Cemetery in Belfast at a later date. Condolences to the family may be expressed at www.BrookingsSmith.com.
