Mary Jean Yost (McLain)
Mary Jean Yost, 70, passed away unexpectedly, March 12, 2016, at her home. She was born in Millinocket, September 6, 1945, the daughter of Eugene J. And Mary E. (McMahon) McLain.

Mary graduated from Stearns High School and later received her Associates in Business from Beal College. She worked for the Department of Human Services and the former Bangor Mental Health Institute as a Benefit Eligibility Specialist for over 35 years until her retirement.

Mary enjoyed playing Bingo and cards, and watching her favorite movies on TMC and the show, Pawn Stars. She was known for her kindness and humor, and as a mother, she was not only very supportive of her children, she was unwaveringly loyal. Mary was a wonderful mother to her three children, and was a loving grandmother who was incredibly dedicated to her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Mary was predeceased by her brother, Brian McLain of Florida; and her granddaughter, Mary Marissa. She is survived by her three children, Richard Yost of Windham, Robert Yost of Hampden and Tina Fogg of Winterport; grandchildren, Kylee, Lindsie, Paige, Sierra, Wyatt, Madison and Mackenzie; and her sister, Dorothy Carter of Scarborough.

The family invites relatives and friends to share in conversation and refreshments 2-4 pm, Saturday, March 19, at the Family Reception Center of Brookings-Smith, 163 Center Street, Bangor.
