Jeanette Eileene  Pomeroy (Clark)
Jeanette Eileen Pomeroy, went home to be with the Lord on September 21, 2016, surrounded by her family, after a long illness. She was born in Howland, November 16, 1936, daughter of Stanley “Jack” and Avis (Staples) Clark. Jeanette grew up in Howland, Jackson and Bangor. After raising four girls, she worked for Husson College, where she retired after 25 years. She was a member of the ladies auxilary of the Norman Dow VFW Post of Bangor, Messiah Baptist Church and the Bangor Armory Seniors. Jeanette was a phenomenal seamstress, painter, baker and she enjoyed interior decorating.

Surviving are the love of her life and husband of 62 years, Floyd W. Pomeroy; four daughters, Cheryl Dinardo and her husband Tony of Glenburn, Darlene Avery and her husband, Mike of Tampa, FL., Dawn Egers of North Conway, N.H., and Ronda Hartley and her husband, Andy of Bangor; grandchildren, Jessica Dinardo, Dominic Dinardo and his wife, Stacy, Shawna and Emily Egers, Josiah and Mason Hartley; great grandchildren, Jordan Egers, Adalyn and Isabella Dinardo; brother Horace Clark and his wife Helen, of Jacksonville, Florida, and a very special sister-in-law, who was like her daughter, Joan (Pomeroy) Overlock and her husband, Skip of Hermon; sister-in-law, Lillian Kelley and her husband, Shubial; sister-in-law Pam Clark of Exeter, many nieces and nephews.

Jeanette was predeceased by her parents, three brothers, Stanley, Vernon and Dennis Clark; a son-in-law, Gary Egers; granddaughter, Monica Marie Avery; and a sister-in-law, Charlotte Kelley and her husband, George.

The family would like to thank Messiah Baptist Church and Beacon Hospice for their loving, supportive care.
Relatives and friends are invited to call 6-8 p.m. Friday, September 23, 2016 at Brookings-Smith, 133 Center St. Bangor. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, September 24, 2016, at Messiah Baptist church, Bangor, with the Rev. Herman C. Frankland, pastor, officiating. Interment will be in Snows Corner Cemetery, Hermon.
