Obituary for Gwendolyn Louise Trabold

Gwendolyn Louise  Trabold
Gwendolyn Louise Trabold, 88, passed away peacefully October 10, 2016, at a Bangor healthcare facility. She was born March 16, 1928, in Springfield, Mass, the daughter of Walter and M. (Young) Trabold.

Gwen was a long time resident of Milford. She was a loyal parishioner of the former St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Old Town, and more recently attended St. Ann’s Catholic Parish, Bradley. Gwen enjoyed traveling and there are many memories of trips from over the years. She enjoyed following the Patriots and enjoyed attending Super Bowl parties over the years. More than anything she will be remembered as a true and loyal friend to the Cunningham family.

She is survived by nieces; Rene Reinhart, Denise Huggins, and Jan Collard; a nephew, Peter Georgopolus; and a sister-in-law, Doris Trabold; Her family was not defined by blood and she is additionally survived by; nieces, Lynne and husband Pete Spooner, Denise and husband Tim Deshane, and Cindy and husband Lou Hardy; grand nieces and nephews, Shawn, Lauren, Jason, Jamie, Chelsea, Katie, and Emma; and her loving dog nephew, Diego, who she cared for. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by a step mother, Eva Trabold; a sister, Connie Georgopolus; a brother, Raymond Trabold; and a niece, Raeleen Trabold.

Services will be private for the family. Interment will be at Milford Cemetery, Milford. Gifts in her memory may be made to the Old Town Animal Orphanage, P.O. Box 565, Orono, ME 04473. Condolences to the family may be expressed at www.BrookingsSmith.com.
