Condolence From: Anna Wong Nevin
Condolence: So sorry to hear the passing of Mr. Graffam. I have many fond memories of him and his family as well as the other families on May Street. It seems somewhat eerie that my dad and Mr. Woodcock passed away within 4 days of each other and Mr. Graffam and my mom passed away within 3 days of each other. Growing up with all the May Street kids was the best.

Chuck, Linda, Dana, Sharon and David: I'm sorry I was unable to attend but glad my brother was able to stop by. It would have been great to see all of you despite the circumstances.

Flip McFarland: If you are reading this, prayers are being sent to you and your family. I remember you, Dana and my brother David always in woods trying to devise ways to keep the May Street girls out of "your" area.

Condolence: To the families of Charlie Graffam and Kam Wong
I am truly saddened by your loss. Why both families? I write this as Marci and I place my father in Hospice. I find it ironic, strange or just plain weird that we will have all lost our last remaining parent within a matter of days. I remember a day fifty some years ago when Dana, David and I were playing in Mount Hope Cemetery by the old fort when a car from Massachusetts stopped to ask us how to get to the Super’s office. A few minutes later he returned and explained he was there to bury a woman who had died with no local relatives. He asked us to assist as Pall Bearers. He gave us a dollar, which we promptly spent at the ice cream stand next to the restaurant. I may not be with you physically now, but I will be spiritually as a “Pall Bearer” from so long ago. God Bless.

Condolence: My condolences to Linda and the entire Graffam family. Mr Graffam was a solid, dependable presence for the many children who called May Street home.I remember his amazing garden! His love of family and his willingness to add me to his family Sunday dinners at his beloved camp on Branch Lake. This week we lost two lovely people from the May Street "old days", Mr. Graffam and Mrs Wong. May they Rest In Peace. Many thanks for the memories.
