Condolence: Rawcliffe Family - I only found out today that Morna has joined Janette for afterlife adventures. I am very, very sorry to have missed the memorial service. My thoughts are with you all.

There are so many memories I have of Morna: when Rudy got almost got an F in Mrs. Leeman's class because Morna had been reading his Weekly Reader magazine and it had gotten misplaced; the time I went with Carla and a bunch of girl scouts to Swan Lake, Morna wanted to take us to Lincolnville Beach and there were too many kids, so she loaded up the car, took the first batch a few miles down the road, then went back to relay the rest - all the way to Lincolnville; the many times we'd pile into the Rawcliffe's car and go out on an adventure; all the times that she took Aunt Arlie places; and what a good friend she was to my mother. She was an amazing woman. Love, Sally (Sally-Wally as your mother called me.)

Condolence: She was my dear friend and sister in Christ. We shared the love of music and dancing. She had such a wonderful attitude about living each day to it's fullest. Just being around her was joyful and uplifting. I will truly miss our rides to choir practice and the fun we shared after getting there. I expect she is dancing and singing with the angels tonight. I have such wonderful memories of our shared times together whether it be "chicken pie suppers" or Easter breakfast or just misbehaving in the "choir loft". She holds a special place in my heart and I will miss her. I can hear her now saying, "ISN'T THIS FUN".

Condolence: It is impossible to find adequate words to convey what Morna means to me. She has always been a part of my life and for that I am thankful. Beginning with summer vacations at Swan Lake many years ago, what a wonderful place to five girls from the Jersey suburbs. Morna made it extra special – canoeing, rowing, kayaking, swimming across the lake, doing crazy jumps from the float, going exploring, playing cards, and on & on. After graduating high school, Morna and Rock welcomed me into their home. I lived with them and George (a skunk who lived in the basement) while attending Husson College. Those years only increased my love and respect for both Morna and Carl. Some words that come to mind when thinking of Morna are wit, wisdom, and wow! What an amazing mind for all kinds of things and being 90 didn’t change a thing! And wow, Morna just had a presence and energy – her smile and greeting would just brighten your day. Another word is character – she had both strength of character and was a character (in the best way :). When I drive to Maine, crossing into the state brings a feeling of peace. Seeing “The Way Life Should Be” signs makes me think of Morna. She truly loved life and made life more enjoyable for those she touched. Just a beautiful person with an amazing spirit who cannot be replaced. She is missed.

Condolence: Morna holds a special place in my heart. She was always so happy and I loved being around her.
One of my earliest memories is our love of popcorn. We would share many bowls of it at Swan Lake.
I loved our vacations at Swan Lake. The many hours of fun in the lake were amazing and playing cards all night. What a wonderful time I had each summer.
Doing crafts and winning ribbons in the Maine State Fair was pretty cool too.
The end of vacation family dinner (4 parents, 11 kids and sometimes grandparents or an aunt or uncle) was always such a highlight before heading home.
My baby shower gift when I had Kasey (20 years ago) was a silver ice cream scoop (still use today). An interesting gift, but I treasure it as I did enjoy many ice cream trips with Morna.
My husband Bob always wanted to see a moose and Morna would tell us where to go to see a moose. She would tell him they are always there.Well, needless to say we tried every year and even made the Canadian boarder and still not a single moose.
On my last visit to Maine, Morna decided I needed to have seafood every day. We went from the Weather Vane (several trips) to the Eagle Nest, to Youngs, and finally to a restaurant in Belfast (sorry I can’t remember the name).
I could go on forever with wonderful memories.I will finish with Morna was a very amazing, funny, and talented woman, who was loved and admired by so many. There will always be a special place in my heart for her. She will never be forgotten. Love you always, Robin

Condolence: I will miss Morna greatly. She was a wonderful light to the world and an inspiration to everyone she met. I will miss her cards that she would send. It always put a smile on my face to open my mailbox in whatever city or state I was living in and see it was from her. Knowing she thought about me, even when we did not see each other for months, meant the world to me. I'm sorry for your loss and I hope you're able to smile knowing Morna truly lived her life to the fullest. I hope to be just like her when I grow up! I give the whole family my love and know that each of you are in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
