The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Evarts Leighton can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

The obituary said it all. Mr. Leighton, over the years, did all my jewelry repairs, and formed a friendship, we kept in touch.

We were so blessed to have known him, humble and kind gentleman, loved by so many. I will cherish the great memories.

Condolence: Evarts was such a gentle man, always asking with sincere interest and concern for my Mom and Dad. Though it's been years since we've lived in the area and had contact with Evarts, it was a blessing to have known him, and by God's wonderful mercy and grace, we'll see him again one day. Now he can rest in complete peace with our Lord and Savior.
