Teresa Marie  McDonald
HOLDEN – Teresa Marie McDonald, 55, passed at her Holden home with her loving family at her side February 20, 2017, after a long and courageous battle with breast cancer. She was born June 22, 1961 in Bangor, the daughter of Lloyd W. and Barbara E. (Noyes) Pullen. Teresa’s strength and positive attitude during this struggle is a testament to the way she lived her life. Her greatest joys were her family, her love of gardening, her Kubota tractor, Curtis Cove in East Blue Hill and the historic City of Charleston, SC.
Teresa was formally employed as an Ed Tech in the Holden school system where she assisted in the Special Ed programs. She was loved by her students and faculty as well.
In addition to her parents, Teresa was predeceased by her brothers William and Greg Pullen. She is survived by her husband and best friend George McDonald, Jr of Holden, daughters Sarah and husband Sam Martinelli of Orono, Jennifer and husband Jeff Rice of Salem, MA and son, George and wife Rebecca McDonald III of Danville, CA; grandchildren Mason, Jaxon and Caden McDonald, Ashley Welch and Elisabeth Marcinkowski; great grandchildren Nicholas and Cory Marcinkowski and Veda Welch; brother, Cameron and wife Jeannine Pullen of Bradford; sisters Cheryl Berry of Kenduskeag, Dianne and husband Bruce Townsend of Corinth, Marilynn and husband Mark Allen of Bradford and Mary Ann and husband Mark Roy of Corinth; a special aunt and uncle Mary Jane and Charles Fletcher of Canton, Ohio; as well as many nieces and nephews .
A special thanks to the Doctors, Nurses and staff at the Lafayette Center and Teresa’s PA at Family Medicine of Brewer for their loving and compassionate care.
A memorial celebration of her life will be announced at a later date.
