Jennifer “Jeff” Ryder Holt

Jennifer “Jeff” E. (Colbath) Ryder Holt, passed away February 25, 2017. She lived a courageous life and was a friend to all. Jeff’s beautiful smile has reflected off the face of anyone who knew her. She loved a good book, working in her flower gardens, feeding and watching her birds and taking care of her pets. Her motto in life was, “if you are going to do it, do it right.”
Surviving are, one son, Jason Ryder and his wife, Crystal; step-daughter, Jennifer Holt and her fiancé, Rusty McCullough; two sisters, Judy Schissler and husband, Enos, Gayle Wright and husband, Greg; two brothers, Stephen Colbath and wife, Linda, Milford Colbath, Jr. and wife, Anne; many nieces and nephews; son-in-law, Faye Cron; step-daughters, Erica Cron and Lauren Boutlier; good friend, Mavis Patterson.
She was predeceased by her parents; first husband, Buzz Ryder; second husband, Donald Holt; daughter, Lisa Ryder Cron.
The family invites relatives and friends to share conversation and refreshments at the Family Reception Center of Brookings-Smith, 163 Center St., Bangor, 1-3 pm. Saturday, March 4, 2017.
Those wishing to remember her in a special way may contribute in her memory to the Bangor Humane Society, 693 Mt. Hope Ave., Bangor, ME. 04401 or to the Lafayette Family Cancer Center, C/O EMHS Foundation, P.O. Box 931, Bangor, ME. 04402-0931.
