Victor Clair  Wescott
Winterport and Gouldsboro – Victor C. Wescott, 74, passed away March 2, 2017, surrounded by family after a long, courageous battle with illness. He was born September 15, 1942, in Winterport, the son of Arthur M. and E. Ellen (Work) Wescott.

Vic attended Winterport schools and received his G.E.D. He worked at Clements Farm and Young Brothers Boat Shop. He was a fan of the Red Sox, Patriots, and NASCAR. He also was a member of the Masons, Winter Harbor Lodge No. 0192, and the Knights of Pythias, Schoodic Lodge No. 129.

In addition to his parents and a brother, Vic was predeceased by his oldest son, Wayne. He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Connie; sons Joel and wife Angel, Guy and wife Lisa; daughter Evon; grandchildren Tyler, Age, Alex, Amie, Chris, and Melinda and great grandchild to be; and several cousins.

A funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, March 11, 2017, at the Hampden-Gilpatrick Chapel of Brookings-Smith, 45 Western Avenue, Hampden, where relatives and friends are welcome to call from 12 noon until service time.
