Obituary for Judith Rudman

Bangor – Judith Kolker Rudman, 85, passed away March 18, 2017 after a short battle with cancer. She was surrounded by her family at the Seaside Healthcare in Portland.

Born the daughter of Samuel and Saydie Kolker (Baltimore, MD). Judy graduated the Park School in Maryland and Western University in Ohio with a degree in teaching. She met and married Gerald Earl Rudman of Bangor, ME., and taught kindergarten until she bore children. Predeceased by her husband of 60 years, Judy is survived by sons Robert (Anchorage, AK), Samuel (Falmouth, ME – married Lizabeth Battles) and James (Philadelphia – married Mary Porreca) and four grandchildren Abby, Sara, Maddi and Lucy.

A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Monday, March 20, 2017 at the Jewish Chapel, 118 Center St., Bangor. The family invites relatives and friends to share conversation and refreshments at the Family Reception Center of Brookings-Smith, 163 Center St., Bangor, immediately following the services.
