Glenburn – Bessie A. Huston, died peacefully April 14, 2017. She was born July 24, 1917 in Grand Falls, New Brunswick.

Bessie was predeceased by her husband, Carl, daughter Marilyn, sons Larry and Galen, grandsons Matthew Huston and Norman Ewing II, step- grandson Gayland Cole, and also one sister, Victoria Kinney, and 7 brothers, Roy, Vaughn, Ed, Waldo, Bob, Raymond, and Garfield Spencer. Bessie is survived by one son Wavel and his wife, Pat; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. She is also survived by three very dear friends, Florence Conley, Dennis Frost, and Stevie Frost.

We are very grateful for the love and care the staff at Phillips-Strickland gave to Bessie in her last years. Bessie was able to pass away in the comfort of her own room, thanks to Phillips-Strickland’s loving staff.
