Obituary for Marie Juliette Brassbridge

Marie Juliette Brassbridge
WINTERPORT - Marie Juliette Brassbridge, 82, wife of the late Kenneth Brassbridge, passed away peacefully on April 17, 2017, at Glenridge Nursing Facility in Augusta. She was born in Winslow, Maine on June 5, 1935 to Marie Huard.

Her life journey led her to Prospect where she met her loving husband Kenneth. They were married on June 12. 1965. They resided in Winterport at their home until Kenneth's passing on November 3, 2000. Julie took great pleasure in all the wonderful offerings of God's great gifts of family, friends, children, animals and nature. With a smile on her face and a heart of gold, she was always ready to help her neighbors and family members in any way she could. Babysitting, cleaning house, doing laundry, and stacking wood. There wasn't anything she wouldn't do to help others. Julie's life's journey eventually led her back to her earlier surroundings in Kennebec county where she made many more friends and lived until the glorious day God called her home.

Many thanks to the staff at Glenridge long term care facility for their loving care and support. She touched many hearts with her smile and enthusiasm.

A graveside service will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 20, 2017 at Pilgrims Home Cemetery, Haley Road, Monroe where she will be buried next to her husband. Condolences to the family may be expressed at www.BrookingsSmith.com.
