Gail Bridget  Reddy
BANGOR – Gail B. Reddy, our always loving mother and grandmother, passed away peacefully on May 6, 2017. She was born November 20, 1939 in Jamaica Plain, MA, the daughter of Merrill R. and Johannah E. (Farley) Morgan. Gail graduated from South Portland High School in 1957 and from Northeastern Business School in 1960. Throughout her life, Gail’s real passion was interior design and gardening. The family home in Holden was her “Camelot”, and anyone who knew Gail, knows she took great pride in decorating the home and in her many flower gardens. Throughout the years, Gail was very involved with St. Joseph’s Hospital, the gift shop, as well as an active member of the auxiliary. She was also a member of many community activities and clubs. She is survived by her two daughters and seven grandchildren, who were truly the greatest loves of her life. Cynthia Small and her two children Colby and Morgan Small; Gwendolyn Reddy and Glenn Geiser and their children Johannah Mahon and fiancé Evan Economy and son Landon, Breannah and boyfriend Michael Yerxa , Jennah, Logan and Landon Geiser. In addition a brother John Morgan and his wife Maxine, a sister Gwendolyn Steuterman of Portland, and a special niece Patty Gonneville of Old Orchard Beach. A service honoring Gail’s life will be held 11 a.m., Wednesday, May 10, 2017 at Brookings-Smith, 133 Center Street, Bangor. The family invites relatives and friends to share conversation and refreshments at the Family Reception Center of Brookings-Smith, 163 Center St, Bangor, immediately following the service. Those who wish to remember Gail in a special way may make gifts in her memory to New Hope Hospice, PO Box 70, Eddington, ME 04428-0070.
