FRANKFORT- Kathy J. (Adams) Harriman, 55, died on May 8, 2017 due to a tragic car accident. She was born March 21, 1962, in Bangor, the daughter of George S. "Sonnyā€¯ and Mary Jane (Rancourt) Adams.

Kathy graduated from Searsport District High School, Class of 1980. After Graduation she had two children and then began her career as a CRMA. She worked at Bayview Manor in Searsport for 13 years, and worked at Charlotte White Center in Bangor. She then stopped working to enjoy being a Nana. Kathy enjoyed quilting, and baking. Beano was something that both her and her husband Barney of almost 3 years enjoyed doing together.

She was predeceased by her father Sonny. Surviving in addition to her mother Mary, are her husband, Byron Harriman; son, Benjamin Adams and his wife, Brittany, of Blue Hill; daughter, Amanda (Palmer) King, of Winterport; step-daughter, Jessica, of Chelsea; four grandchildren, Dominick King, Wyatt King, William Adams, and Jacob Adams; three step-grandchildren, Kasey, Shane, and Ameleah; three sisters, Cindy Treat, of Augusta, Gayle Brassbridge and her husband, Kenneth, of Frankfort, Laurie King and her husband, Steve, of Corinth; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins; special friends, Marie, Cathy, Bub, Sandy, and many more.

Relatives and friends are welcome to call from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. Saturday May 13, 2017 at the Hampden-Gilpatrick Chapel of Brooking-Smith, 45 Western Ave., Hampden where a funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. Judy Ahles, officiating. Burial with a private ceremony will be at a later date. The family invites relatives and friends to share conversation and refreshments at the Frankfort Congregational Church, 42 Main Road South, Frankfort, immediately following the funeral.
