Obituary for Norma C. Bolstridge

Hermon – Norma C. (Beaulieu) Bolstridge, 56, died peacefully, May 11, 2017 after a long illness. She was born in Fort Kent, August 19, 1960, the daughter of Elmer and Irene (Beaulieu) Sirois.

Norma graduated from Fort Kent Community High School and went on to live for a while in Lincoln and Bangor. During this time she married and had two beautiful children, Kimberly and Robby. In 1988, she divorced and moved with the children to Cave Creek, AZ. While in Cave Creek, Norma managed an apartment complex and ran a house cleaning company. She was a very conscientious and hard worker. In 1991 Norma married Chris Bolstridge. They continued to reside in Cave Creek until 1996 when they returned to the Bangor area. Norma worked in the health care field in the Bangor area until she was no longer able to due to the effects of Alzheimer’s disease.

Norma was a loving mother, devoted daughter, wonderful sister and a loyal friend. She enjoyed working in her vegetable garden and planting her beautiful flower beds. Norma was a kind and thoughtful person who never forgot you on your birthday or Christmas. She loved to go on long walks and spending time with her family and friends. Norma was very well liked and thought of by the people who knew her.

Norma is survived by her partner, Ken McCue, who was by her side throughout her very difficult Alzheimer’s journey; son Robby Jandreau and his partner, Hannah; two step children, Christopher and Jennifer Bolstridge; mother, Irene (Beaulieu) Sirois; brother, Michael Beaulieu; sisters, Linda Beaulieu and Judy Ivicek; three grandchildren, David, Michael, and Elizabeth; special nephew, Curtis Beaulieu; her best friend Laurel Wilson; father-in-law, Elmer Bolstridge.

She was predeceased by her husband, Chris Bolstridge; her daughter, Kimberly Jandreau; her brother, James Beaulieu, and her father Elmer Beaulieu; special sister-in-law, Polly Beaulieu.

A funeral Mass will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday, May 20, 2017, at St. Paul the Apostle Parish, St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 768 Ohio St., Bangor. The family invites relatives and friends to share conversation and refreshments in the Parish Hall immediately following the Mass. The Rite of Committal will be held at the St. John’s Catholic Cemetery at a date and time to be announced.
