BANGOR- Hellen Hodge, 82, passed away on May 13, 2017 at a Bangor hospital. She was born in Bangor September 20, 1934 to Harlan and Arlene (Sawyer) Bryant.

After working more than 30 years in the manufacturing industry, at the age of 51, Helen obtained her GED certificate and worked in the law library of Rudman and Winchell until her retirement. She was married to George A. Hodge and they spent 30 years together. Helen loved to paint ceramics and play bingo.

Helen was predeceased by her loving husband, George. She is survived by her children; John Bryant and wife Leslie, of Tucson, AZ, Jeff Hodge and Pat Gilbert, of Chandler, AZ, Kelly Bowers, of Brewer, George and wife Patricia Hodge of Coventry, CT; brothers Bob Bryant and wife Linda, of Hermon, and Harlan Bryant and wife Judy, of Carmel.

Friends and relatives are welcome to a graveside service on Friday, May 19, 2017, at 2:00 P.M. at Lake View Cemetery, 828 Western Ave, Hampden, ME 04444. A reception will be held following the graveside at the Club House of Eagle Ridge Park, 879 N. Main Street, Brewer, ME, 04412 from 4-7 P.M.
