Roberta “Bobbi” Leighton
Bangor
Roberta “Bobbi” Leighton, 77, died April 28, 2017 at Sebasticook Valley Hospital after a long illness. She was born July 23, 1939 in Somerville, Mass. Bobbi lived for many years at Freese’s in Bangor, when she volunteered at the Children’s Museum, and more recently at Stillwater Health Care in Bangor. Bobbi was a very caring, fun-loving person who enjoyed crafts, playing cards, and winning at Bingo. She will be missed by all who knew her. She had four children: Rick, Donna, and Steve survive her; Philip, Jr. predeceased her. She was the oldest of five: sisters, Diane and brother Charles survive her; Sisters, Joan and Judy predeceased her. A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, May 26th at 2 p.m. in the dining room of Stillwater Health Care. Memorial donations may be made in Bobbi’s memory to Hospice of Eastern Maine, 885 Union St. Suite 220, Bangor, ME. 04401. Condolences to the family may be expressed at www.BrookingsSmith.com.
