MILO & BANGOR – Iris Norma Buzzell, 87, passed away May 17, 2017, at a Bangor hospital. She was fortunate to be able to live independently until just before her hospitalization. She graduated from Milo High School in 1947, and has served for many years as a resource for the Milo Alumni Association. She worked as a bank teller at the Milo branch of Merrill Trust, later Fleet Bank, before transferring to the main offices where she worked in the commercial loan department. After her retirement from the bank, she spent several years volunteering for Literacy Volunteers and United Way.

Iris was predeceased by her parents, her siblings, Hope (Buzzell) Rideout, Ernest Buzzell, Harold Buzzell, Rachel (Buzzell) Smith, William Buzzell, and two nieces, Carol Cole and Paula Pinheiro-Buzzell.
