Jean (Tuttle) Boutot, 68, devoted mother, grandmother and friend, went to be with the Lord on May 19, 2017, surrounded by her loving family and friends. She fought a courageous battle with cancer.
She was born June 11, 1948 in Houlton, the daughter of Harold and Pauline Tuttle.
Jean graduated from Hodgdon High School in 1966.
Jean was a Catholic christian and communicant of St. Paul the Apostle Parish, St. Mary’s Catholic Church. She loved the Lord Jesus Christ. She served in music ministry for over 30 years and in the prison ministry for well over 20 years. Jean loved music, cooking, gardening, antiquing and most of all, her children and grandchildren.
Surviving are her six children: Shawn Boutot and Julianna of FL., Patrick Boutot of Bangor, Shane Boutot of PA., Sarah Brill and Steven of PA., Kendra Boutot of Bangor, David Boutot and Lori of Old Town; grandchildren: Matthew, Cecelia, Carson, Cydnee, Cooper and Kayla; siblings: David and Luanne, of New Limerick, Michael of Houlton and Carol Stewart of New Limerick.
She was predeceased by Larry Boutot and her brother, Brian.
A Funeral Mass will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 24, 2017, at St. Paul the Apostle Parish, St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Interment will be in Mt. Pleasant Catholic Cemetery. A reception will follow in the parish hall.
