The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Vickie Thayer can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

We'd like to express our condolences to you. Our only connection to Vickie was when we were ill and went to St. Joseph's in Hampden. Even though we were ill, seeing Vickie's smile when she called our name would always make us feel better... even though we still had issues...

Condolence: I am so sorry for the family and friends of Vickie. She was a great person. Loving and caring. She was always there for me when I needed a shoulder to cry on. She was a great EMT. I was so happy when she helped me get my EMT. She never gave up on me. RIP Vickie.
