Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Ruth Nadeau can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Ruth Ellen  Nadeau ((Cunning))
GLENBURN - Ruth Ellen Nadeau, 57, earned her Angel Wings on June 23, 2017 after a long and courageous battle. She was born July 6, 1959, in Boston, MA, the daughter of William E. and Barbara A. (Cunning) O’Bryan.

Ruth was an inspiration to all who knew and loved her with her incredible faith and strength throughout her life-long battle with illness. Ruth would want to be remembered for the way she embraced life and her incredible sense of humor. Family is what Ruth cherished most in life and they all will cherish and miss her dearly.

She is survived by her life partner, Michael Doren; children, Richard Nadeau, Nicole Nadeau, Bryan Nadeau, Thomas Nadeau, Michael Doren Jr., and StaceyAnn Doren; siblings, William O’Bryan, John O’Bryan, Barbara Young and husband Richard, James O’Bryan and wife Helen, Victor O’Bryan, Ronald O’Bryan and wife Jamie, Deborah O’Bryan, and Joseph O’Bryan; grandchildren, D.J., Kylie, George, Starlynn, Layla, and Cali; and her kitty, Woobie. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by a brother, Robert O’Bryan, and a sister, Annmarie Young.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held 4 PM, Monday, July 17, at Brookings-Smith, 133 Center Street, Bangor. Friends are invited to gather with the family from 3 PM until the start of the service. Gifts in her memory may be made to CancerCare of Maine, C/O EMHS Foundation, P.O.
