Larry Fenton Charloux, 60, died unexpectedly at his home on Saturday, September 9th 2017. He was born November 29th 1956 in Bangor, the son of Raymond and Joyce (Philbrick) Charloux. Larry graduated from Hermon High School a part of the class of 1975. Following his graduation he continued his education at Husson College graduating in 1979 with a b achelors degree in accounting. After graduation, Larry married Candy Gee and they settled in Hermon. They celebrated 38 years of Marriage in August. Larry was employed at Whited Ford in Bangor as Controller, and was well known in the auto dealership community. Larry was an avid Red Sox fan, enjoyed playing golf with his brother Eric and his sons-in-law, and enjoyed vacationing in Myrtle Beach SC. Larry was meticulous about his lawn and saw yard work as a passion.
In addition to his parents, Larry is survived by his wife Candy of Hermon, daughters, Jolene Clay and husband Jason of Brewer, and Valaree Folsom and her husband Richard of Orono. He is also survived by his sister Michelle of Bangor, brothers Raymond of Brewer, Eric of Hermon, and Craig of Ft. Benning, GA. Larry is also survived by "Grampie's Girl" Harper Clay, and grand-dogs Zoey and Zeke; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to call 5 to 7 pm. Thursday, September 14, 2017 at Brookings-Smith, 133 Center St., Bangor. A Funeral Mass will be held 10 am. Friday, September 15, 2017 at St. Paul the Apostle Parish, St. John’s Catholic Church, 207 York St., Bangor, followed by the Rite of Committal at Pine Grove Cemetery, Bangor.
Those wishing to remember Larry in a special way may contribute in his memory to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN. 38105.
