Sarah Louise Ward

Corinth-Sarah Louise Ward, 90, passed away October 6, 2017, at Ross Manor surrounded by her beloved family. She was born September 17, 1927, in Bangor, the daughter of Ausba and Ellen Pinkham.
Her family brought love and joy to her life each and every day. She was very close to her family, including her caring Mitchell family. Louise was very active in her church, Corinth United Methodist Church, where she made many lifelong friends. She enjoyed volunteering her time for various hospice programs, cooking for the Meals for Me program where she was known for her famous biscuits.
She is survived by her daughter Valerie Grant and her husband Terry; son in-law Daniel Hurd and his family; her grandchildren, Scott Tilton and his wife Melanie, Kevin Tilton and his wife Cathy, Terri Jane Casavant and her husband Donald, Wanda Poulin and her husband Gabriel, Jason Grant and his wife Kati; her great grandchildren, Caid, Meganne, Noah, Ben, Megan, Emily, Elise, Kaitlynn, Bayley, Grant, Gage, Gabrielle, Britni, Owen, and Jackson; many nieces and nephews; many close friends including Ida, Nancy, Patty, and Norma.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Percy Ward; her daughter, Jane Hurd; two brothers, Fred Pinkham and his wife Sue and Ausba Pinkham; two sisters, Anna Pinkham, Dot Thompson and her husband Richard; a special friend, Carl Mitchell.
Louiseā€™s family would like to thank the staff at Ross Manor and Beacon Hospice including Janis, Cindy, Michelle and Jamie for the wonderful and loving care they provided.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit from 3-4pm October 11, 2017, at the Corinth United Methodist Church, 275 Main St, Corinth, where funeral services will be held at 4pm with Pastor John Robbins officiating. Interment will be held at a later date. The family invites relatives and friends to share conversation and refreshments at the Corinth Methodist Church following the funeral services.
