Obituary for James Evan Huntley

Hampden – James E. Huntley, 63, died unexpectedly October 20, 2017, in Bangor. He was born April 29, 1954, in Bangor, the son of Kenneth and Maxine (Forsythe) Huntley.

Jim attended Hampden schools until he took a job working for a local glass company. He later worked as an auto mechanic for Morall Brake for a number of years. He also had worked for Dead River, filling propane tanks. Jim lived for snowmobiling. He loved going out in fresh snow, grooming the trails, and working on them. He could re-build snowmobiles, cars, and even tractors – pretty much anything with a motor. Jim will be remembered as a quiet and caring man.

In addition to his grandparents, he was predeceased by a brother, Darrell Huntley. Jim is survived by his parents, Ken and Maxine Huntley; a sister, Elaine Gray; a sister-in-law, Wanda Huntley; four nephews, John, Joseph, Robbi, and Wesley; and a very special niece, Crystal Spiller.

Services will be private for the family.
