Obituary for Donna Marie King (Clark)
Bangor – Donna Marie King, 70, died peacefully at her home on November 7, 2017 after a long illness. She was born March 25, 1947, in Bangor, the daughter of Frederick and Mary (Grava) Clark.
Donna graduated from Bangor High School, Class of “1965” and from Husson College in 1966. She worked at Sullivan Ford for several years as well as Maine Energy before starting her own business, performing bookkeeping services for several Bangor area small businesses, in 1987. Donna ran her business for the next 30 years, until retiring in February of this year.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a brother, Frederick Clark Jr. Donna is survived by her son, Scott A. King of Swanville; nephew, Kevin Clark of Bangor, and a niece, Kelley Roduik of Carrollton, GA.
A memorial service will be held 1:00 p.m., Saturday, November 18, 2017 at Brookings-Smith 133 Center St., Bangor with Pastor Steve Smith of the Orono and Alton United Methodist Churches, officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Bangor. Friends are invited to call from 12:00 p.m. until time of service. Those wishing to remember Donna in a special way may make gifts in her memory to the Bangor Humane Society 693 Mt. Hope Ave, Bangor, Maine 04401.
