The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Paul Phillips can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence From: Debby Goldrick
Condolence: My deepest condolences to Paul's family. I knew Paul as a teenager. Always joking and laughing, we always had lots of fun hanging out together. I am so very saddened to learn of his passing and my heart goes out to his wife, children, and the rest of his family. May you find the strength to help you through...

Condolence: Dear Tobie, Sydnie and Brennan -
I am so terribly sorry to hear this sad and absolutely unbelievable news. Paul was one of the first people we met when we moved to Maine and he was always so welcoming and generous with his time on the sideline of the soccer fields or in the ski lodge. He told us about great hikes, places to climb, places to sail - and genuinely made us feel at home in Maine with a greeting and a smile. I know that these stories can't help take away your unbearable pain, but please know that we'll remember him fondly and will miss him too.

Brennan - Amblen and I are happy to give you a ride to Herman any time you want one this winter. He's getting a season pass for Christmas.
Hugs - Cindy Isenhour

Condolence: I had the privilege of working with Paul for 3 years at EMMC where he was truly the life and the soul of the OR.
We talked a lot about cars, music and soccer and he was so proud of his Brendan’s achievements in soccer.
He raised everyone’s spirits and was such a joy to be around.

Tobi, I cannot imagine the heartache you and the children are going through.
You are all in my thoughts in Ireland
He left the world far too soon, but he left the world a far greater place for him having been in it.

Condolence From: Bill Wood, MD
Condolence: Paul was always a bright spot in my day, when I worked with him in the OR. I didn't know him well, but very much appreciated his good humor and lightheartedness, and very helpful and pro-patient approach, to all the patients we shared. When my wife was a patient, he made her laugh, when she was nervous, before her procedure. He is very much missed, by many. My deep condolences to his wife Tobie, and their kids.
