Harold John  Hopkins
Harold John Hopkins, 52, passed away November 17, 2017, at his residence. He was born July 27, 1965, in Bangor the son of the late Galen S. Hopkins, and Pauline (Haskins) Hopkins of Bangor. Harold graduated from Bangor High School in the Class of 1984 and lived in both Maine and New Hampshire where he worked in manufacturing, construction and transportation. He was known to many as a kind and generous guy who would give his last dime to anyone who needed it. Harold will be fondly remembered for his amazing peanut butter fudge. In addition to his mother, he is survived by three sisters; Mary Ellen Sites of Bangor, Robin Fitzherbert of Eliot, and Nancy Howe of Dedham; and a niece and nephew Julia and Andrew Howe. In addition to his father, he was predeceased by a brother, Robert. A Funeral Liturgy outside of Mass will be held 1 PM, Wednesday, Nov. 22, at Brookings-Smith, 133 Center Street, Bangor, followed by the Rite of Committal at Mt. Pleasant Catholic Cemetery, Bangor.
