Brenda T. Shannon, 55, passed from this earth on Friday, November 17, 2017 after battling pneumonia at a local hospital. She was born on November 2, 1962 in Boston, MA; the daughter of William J. and Patricia E. (Cunningham) Shannon.

Brenda was predeceased by her father, William J. Shannon and sister, Patricia. Brenda is survived by her mother, Patricia E. Shannon of Exeter; sister, Edwina Shannon of Murfreesboro TN; brother, Walter of Newburgh with wife, Shirley; sister, Donna Shannon of Weymouth, MA; brother, William of Detroit with wife, Nanette; and brother, Robert of Exeter with wife, Michelle, as well as nine nieces and nephews and five great nieces and nephews.

Friends are welcome to call 5-6 p.m. Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at Brookings-Smith, 133 Center St., Bangor. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Wednesday, November 22 at St. John’s Catholic Church, 207 York St., Bangor. Interment will be in the Veterans National Cemetery in Bourne, MA.
