Frankfort-Nancy Deborah (Dingle) Poitras, 77, passed away peacefully November 24, 2017 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Nancy was born October 21, 1940 in Smithsburg, MD, the daughter of Raymond and Hazel Dingle. She was the loving wife of Robert A. J. Poitras of 58 years. Nancy was a 1959 graduate of Waynesboro High School, PA. She was employed at Webber Energy Fuels, Allstate Insurance, Phoenix Ind., Newmont Exploration Ltd., Merrill Bank, Sears, and Bangor and Rockland Credit Bureaus. Nancy enjoyed sewing, crafts, gardening, cooking, and caring for her family. She was a member of St. Gabriel's Catholic Church, Winterport. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a son, Kirk Poitras, grandchildren, Michael and Mathew Fletcher, and Claudia Swift; a brother, Delbert Dingle. Nancy is survived by her husband, Robert; children, Deborah Fletcher of Frankfort, Ricky Poitras and his wife, Gail of FL., and Tina Swift and her husband, Stephen of NY; grandchildren, Jennifer, Jamie, Chloe, Sarah, Sally, Susan, and Nicole; great-grandchildren, Samantha, Allyson, Elizabeth, Levi, Adam, Evelyn, and Henry; siblings, Danial, Larry, Vernon, Lindsey, Karen, and Tina. Relatives and friends may call from 5-7 pm. Friday December 1, 2017 at the Hampden-Gilpatrick Chapel of Brookings-Smith, 45 Western Ave., Hampden. A funeral Mass will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, December 2, 2017 at the St. Paul the Apostle Parish, St. Gabriel's Catholic Church, 435 South Main St., Winterport. A reception will immediately follow the mass at the church Columbian Hall with the Rite of committal being held at 2:00 p.m. in Mt. Pleasant Catholic Cemetery, Ohio St., Bangor.
