Clarence J. "Joey"  Theriault, Jr.
MILFORD – Clarence “Joey” Theriault, 70, passed away at his home on December 24, 2017 after a courageous five year battle with cancer. He was born on March 27, 1947 in Biddeford, ME. He was the son of Clarence and Dorothy (Cyr) Theriault.

Joey was a graduate of Old Town High School, Class of 1965. Joey served in the U.S. Navy from 1966 – 1970. In 1970, Joey married his wife Paulette Pete and have celebrated 47 years of marriage. Joey was employed for 50 years at the Old Town Paper Mill, where he worked his way up to become a shift supervisor. After the closing of the mill, Joey worked for Sercuritas. He was known as a jokester with a heart of gold. Joey enjoyed the outdoors and was an avid fisherman, hunter, and snowmobile/ATV rider. He enjoyed spending time with his faithful companion and friend, Decaf.

He was predeceased by his parents. In addition to his wife, Joey is survived by his son, Clarence J. “CJ” Theriault, III and wife Billie-Jo of Milford; daughter, Wendi Smith and husband Robert of Greenbush; six grandchildren, Mary, Clarence J. “Jay” Theriault, IV, Mia, Savannah, Hunter, and Gage; sister, Donna Hurd; and brother, Bruce Theriault and his wife, Brenda; along with many nieces and nephews.

The family invites relatives and friends to join in a Celebration of Life on Sat. Jan. 13, 2017 at 1 pm at the Old Town American Legion, 20 Water St, Old Town. Those who wish to remember Joey in a special way may make gifts in his memory to the Lafayette Family Cancer Center, c/o EMHS Foundation, P.O. Box 931, Bangor, ME, 04402-0931.
