Carlene Ester Peltier, 75, passed away January 2, 2018 at St. Joseph Hospital, after a long illness. She was born in Bangor July 3, 1942, daughter of Frank W. and Madeline E. (Sprague) Barker.
Carlene was a mother of six who loved music, dancing, games, jewelry and her hats. She was a very loving and giving person who enjoyed giving to others and helping them.
She was predeceased by three sisters, Genevieve West, Gail Robichaud and Geraldine Witik; and five brothers, Frank Barker, Leonard Kendall, Charles Barker, Donald Goodale and Robert Goodale.
Surviving are six children, Miles Hart, Mark Hart, Tommy Hart, Cindy Merrill, Jennie Saulmer and Rosemary Worster; grandchildren, Malachi and Jacob Hart, Robert and Adam Levasseur, Julia Randall, Cara Wall, Joshua Linnell and Benjamin Hart; several great grandchildren; one sister, Madeline Gordon Gowen and a “special sister,” Pinky; many special nieces, nephews and friends.
A gathering to celebrate her life will be held 5 P.M. Friday January 5, 2018 at the Grange Hall, Ohio St., Bangor.
