Obituary for Jarryd James Tracy

Hermon – Jarryd J. Tracy, 10, passed away unexpectedly on February 18, 2018. He was born July 31, 2007 in Bangor, the son of Jason and Jamie (Keirstead) Tracy.

Jarryd was a fifth-grade student at Hermon Middle School. He will be missed by his many friends and teachers at school.

Jarryd loved being outdoors, whether he was hunting, fishing, putting up a tree stand, walking through the woods, snowmobiling, or just riding his bike, he loved it all. Jarryd loved spending time with his family, especially his grandfather, Ellery. Nine times out of ten, you could find Jarryd and Ellery together. He loved to go spend time up to his uncle Bub’s camp on Boyd Lake where he enjoyed going swimming and Kayaking. One of Jarryd's greatest memories was of his first turkey hunt with his Uncle Jr. He was so excited when he harvested his first turkey. The smile never left his face after that.

Jarryd loved his brother and sister very much. They fought like siblings do, but they always stuck by each other, they miss him so much. He had a big heart and loved to tell jokes and make people smile. His laughter will be missed tremendously.

Jarryd is survived by his mother, Jamie (Keirstead) Tracy; brother, Jayden Tracy; sister, Jaslyn Tracy; paternal grandparents, Ann and Ellery Tracy; maternal grandparent, Melanie and Shawn Hamel, and Dwight and Lorraine Keirstead. He is also survived by aunts, Megan, Sasha, Heather, and Sarah; uncles, Shawn, David, and Pedro. Jarryd had many cousins that he loved as well. He was predeceased by his father, Jason Tracy.

I’ll Love you forever
I’ll like you for always
As long as I’m living my baby
