Philip Douglas  Robertson
Philip "Papa" Robertson Sr, 80, died unexpectedly April 5, 2018, at home. He was born May 28, 1937, in Bangor, the son of Frederick and Louise (Thereau) Robertson.

Philip married the love of his life, Alice (LaJoie) Robertson in 1960. They were happily married for 27 years. He was a long time employee of MDOT for 39 years until retirement.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Alice and 3 brothers, Arnold, Calvin and Edward. Surviving are his children, Susan Berthiaume and her husband Claude, Debra Haas and her husband Eric, Philip Robertson Jr, Sandra Day and her husband James, Donna Fish and her husband Stanley IV; 11 grandchildren; Christopher, Alisha, Jenny, Kristi, Elizabeth, Amy, Allison, Meagan, Andrew, Aaron and Rebecca; 8 great-grandchildren; one brother, Frederick; one sister, Kathleen; many nieces and nephews; his companion, Edith Hodgins and her family.

Relatives and friends are welcome to call 5-7 pm Monday, April 9, 2018 at the Brewer Chapel of Brookings-Smith, 55 S. Main St, Brewer, where a funeral service will be held 11 am Tuesday, April 10, with the Rev. Kate Nicol, officiating. Interment will be in Meadowbrook Cemetery, Eddington, later in the spring.
