Condolence From: Kate Watts
Condolence: I could speak of Mac's easy going manner, the way he did more for others than he would ever allow them to do for him, his ability to convey an opinion with respect. How I admired his dedication to Ozzie and Penny, who knew it was far better to live with Mac then anywhere else! A kindred spirit who loved Florida almost as much as I. And all of it would fall utterly short of what a unique, kind, intelligent, selfless person he was. Someone who shared our greatest sorrows and joys through the years. Thank you for your friendship, Mac. I will miss you always. "Roque Bluffs to Bangor... out."

Condolence From: Norman Pip Carlisle
Condolence: Summer of '67--got to know Mackie at the Asticou Inn, and then we went on a late summer trip to the Thousand Islands area in his maroon Ford, chasing the usual things that 18 year old boys chase. Always had a ridiculously fun time with Mike and chuckle every time his memory pops into my head. Can't believe he is gone. My condolences to Mike's family.

Condolence From: Charlie Cox
Condolence: My prayers today will be for Mike and his family. Mike always greeted me with a smile, He was always calm, cool, and collected. Never one to complain. He just took care of the task at hand and moved on to the next one. For me there was something zen like in his approach to life, no complaining, no need to get exasperated, just get the job done cause it needs to be done. Thanks for the life lessons Mike -I will try to pass them along.
