Condolence: To the Svendsen Family,
Mr Svendsen was the epitome of what was so great about youth sports in this area. He was always so giving of his time and knowledge. As a father who has gone through it now I appreciate what he did so much more. To this day I still remember The Y middle school championship game that our team the Nuggets triumphed over the mighty Celtics. Fond memories to hold onto and cherish about a man that was so giving. My condolences on your loss.

Condolence: To the Svendsen Family:

I was privileged to serve under Paul when he was a Board member and Chair at BDAC/MHC. It was my first Exec Director position and having Paul as a mentor and advisor made for lifelong lessons in community service.
Paul was forthright in his interactions, compassionate of those in need and dedicated to making the community accessible to all. He was a patient coach who always made time available and modeled what he taught. My thoughts are with you as we remember his many contributions.
