Obituary for Glen Arthur Weeks, Jr.

Exeter – Glen Arthur Weeks Jr., 57, went home to be with the Lord, June 23, 2018. He was born April 4, 1961, in Franklin, NH, the son of Glen and Arlene (Whiting) Weeks Sr.

Glen loved the Lord and Ministering to others. He was a selfless person with strong convictions. Glen took his responsibilities to his family very seriously and would always put the needs of others before his own. He received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Maine, Augusta and was working towards his master’s. Glen worked many years at Manna as the program director as well as a substance abuse counselor helping those in need. He also enjoyed playing Santa clause for the children during Christmas time, and playing music with his bands. Glen was a fisher of men.

In addition to his father, Glen was predeceased by a brother, Dale Weeks and his mother-in-law, Phoebe (Michaud) Crocker. He is survived by his loving wife, Ella (Crocker) Weeks of Exeter; two sons, Glen A. Weeks III of Great Falls, MT, and Jeremy Weeks of Bangor; his mother, Arlene Whiting of Exeter; two brothers, Mark Weeks of Concord, NH, and Wayne Weeks of Milo; nephews, Mackenzie, Taylor, Caleb and Tyler Weeks.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m., Wednesday June 27, 2018 at the Cornerstone Baptist Church, 1195 Stetson Road, Exeter with pastor Stan Griffin, officiating. Friends are invited to visit from 1:00 p.m. until time of service. Interment will be in the Exeter Center Cemetery, Exeter. The family invites relatives and friends to share conversation and refreshments at the church fellowship hall immediately following the interment. Those wishing to remember Glen in a special way may make gifts in his memory to the Central Maine Men’s Fellowship, Dexter, Maine.
