Bom-Wrapper

The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Gyrth Mikal Rutan can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolences

Condolence From: Fr. Michael Heningham
Condolence: A man that lived and loved his family. A boy that had rabbits as pets, and dogs that he loved. A young man that became a single father, and above all struggled financially and with loneliness while raising his daughter alone, whom he loved above all else. Hard working, generous and loved dearly by his friends and family. Gifted in so many ways and missed by those who love him, beyond comprehension.

Condolence: Dear family,

I'm so sorry for the tragic loss of your beloved Gyrth. May the God of all comfort give you peace to help you cope during this difficult time. We look forward to seeing our dead loved ones again in the righteous paradise here on earth very soon. Acts 24:15; Psalm 37:29

Condolence From: Charlie Knight
Condolence: Words can not explain how sad I feel.
The sadness for everyone involved.
My own selfishness in not being able to agin talk with a man whom I saw dearly love his daughter and try to all he knew he could for her.

I feel so very helpless.

I can't say anything witty or inspirational, etc.

All I can say is that I hurt, and the hurt is so very deep.

Please, everyone, pray for all the lives that have been touched by this and ask God to somehow heal all our collective and personal hurts.

Condolence From: Fr. James P. Brewer
Condolence: My thoughts and prayers are with the Rutan family during this most trying time. From my years of Priesthood there is nothing more painful to endure than having to bury one's child. One consolation is that Gyrth is now free of everything that is entailed in being human and he has entrusted his immortal soul into the Hands of Our Merciful Father. Keep the wonderful memories that you possess of Gyrth alive because now he lives specifically in your minds and hearts. I remember a young man attending St. John's school and his visits to his Mom at the rectory after school. Gyrth has returned to the Father's House where each one of us one day will hopefully follow. May his soul rest in eternal peace,
