I met Jon several months ago while at the Hathaway gym.  I found out that he worked at Sappi, where I worked years ago, and where my husband just retired from.  Jon knew my husband while he was still at Sappi.  We had several conversations regarding work, gym and family.  I have to say that Jon was just so easy to talk to, always smiling, always happy.  When you talked with him, it was like you had know him forever.  He never hesitated to stop his workout to converse with anyone.

I am so sorry to learn of his passing.  A life gone way too soon.  I will miss seeing him on his occasional visits to the gym.  I will miss talking to this fine young man.  He was very proud of his family.  He was truly a gentle soul and a true people person. 

RIP Jon, I am honored to have met you.
