Columbia Falls – Sewell B. Stevenson, 71, died at a local hospital February 26, 2021. He was born March 6, 1949, in Bangor, the son of Oscar and Omer (Rowe) Stevenson.

Sewell attended Bangor High School. He served in the U.S. Army in Vietnam. He was a mail handler for the USPS. Sewell was an avid sportsman, he was a hunter and fisherman. He took great pride in his gardening, and he loved to cook. He was famous for his biscuits!

Sewell and Shaun so terribly sorry to hear your father's passing. Although I didn't know him, he must have a great guy to have raised the two of you so well.

Lucretia, I’m so sorry to hear of your brother, Sewell’s passing. I remember him from school. But didn’t know him very well. I often wondered where you went to after school, and now I know you are in Cherryfield. I would love to reconnect with you if possible. I live in Milford and often go by Cherryfield on the way to eastport, I belong to an art gallery there.
