CORINTH - Gary Durward Arnold, 74, passed away at home surrounded by his loving family on March 10, 2021 after a long 10- year battle with Parkinson’s Disease and Lewy Body Dementia. He was born in Milo to Durward E. and Marice T. (Hamlin) Arnold. He grew up in Bradford, on the family dairy farm. He graduated from East Corinth Academy in 1964. Gary was a life-long dairy farmer. As a young adult he stepped up with the farm when his dad passed away and also helped his mother with his four younger sisters. In 1967 he married his high school sweetheart, Nancy Bean of Corinth. He is survived by his loving wife, Nancy; two daughters, Melissa Arnold and Alicia and husband, Mark Cummings; daughter-in-law, Theisa Arnold; eight grandchildren, Jenessa and husband, Paul, Dakota, Dylan, Garrett, Bethany, Dustin, Alexander, Benjamin; nine great-grandchildren, Kaelyn, Laylah, Everal, Teigan, Bentley, Ella, Madison, Olivia, Owen. He is also survived by three sisters, Janet Libby, Paulette Trafton and her husband, Harold, Durice Washburn and her husband, Mark; brothers-in-law, Peter Staples and Jeff Bean and his wife, Doreen; sister-in-law, Brenda Martin and her husband, Ralph; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. He was predeceased by his parents; his son, Durward; sister, Theolyn Staples; nephews, Trevor Trafton and Brandon Washburn; brother-in-law, Arthur Libby, parents-in-law, Willis and Florence Bean. The family would like to thank Dr. Ritter for his excellent care for many years, and also Kindred Hospice for the excellent care of Gary, and the support for the family during their difficult time.
