Alan Thibodeau

Alan Wayne Thibodeau, 74, of Stetson passed away October 16, 2024 at a Bangor hospital. He was born in Bangor on October 30, 1949, the son of Harold and Allegra (Bell) Thibodeau.

Following graduation from Old Town Highschool, Alan was drafted into the US Army. He proudly served his country during the Vietnam War. In 1974, Alan married the love of his life, Barbara Davis, together they raised two children and celebrated 46 years of marriage before Barbara’s passing in 2020.

After his discharge from the Army, Alan enjoyed spending time with family, ATVing, and, his favorite pastime, cutting wood.

In addition to his parents, Alan was predeceased by his wife, Barbara; and sister, Jeannine. He is survived by son, Nikki and his wife, Samantha; daughter, Stacy; grandchildren, Jacob “Jasper”, Samantha Jo, and Anthony; as well as his beloved dog, Whiskey.

Relatives and friends are welcome to call from 5-7pm, Thursday, October 24, 2024 at Brookings-Smith, 133 Center Street, Bangor. A graveside service will be held at 9am, Friday, October 25, 2024 at Pine Grove Cemetery, Bangor.
