Alicia Bessey

October 14, 1990 — December 13, 2020

Alicia Rae Bessey, passed away on December 13, 2020, at a Bangor hospital with her loving
family by her side. She was born on October 14, 1990, in Bangor, to Theodore Bessey Jr. and Dale (Goss)
Bessey.

Alicia graduated from Nokomis Regional High School in the Class of 2008. She lived her 30 years
with a great amount of love for others and was passionate about what she believed in. Alicia loved
going to UMA in Bangor and met many wonderful friends there. She was part of and helped organize
the student life group Rainbows which supports the LGBTQ+ community. Additionally, the UMA
community garden was a passion of hers and she took pride in harvesting 350lbs of food to community
pantries and shelters this season.

In addition to her loving Daddy and Mom; she is survived by a big sissy, Amanda Randall and
husband Brent; three very special nieces, Gabby, Piper, and Lydia Randall, of who Alicia loved so much;
her Nanny and Bampy Goss, Grammy and Papa Bessey; all of her aunts, uncles, and cousins; her best
friend, Ryan Eslin; and her feline friend Gwen. She was predeceased by two special uncles who will
guide her in Heaven, Uncle Kevin and Uncle Bruce. The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff at Northern Light CCU for the wonderful care they provided.
